History
Boca Raton was founded on May 11, 1915. The first settlers were the family of Mr. Sarah and Mr. Charles Mayer, who settled in an old Spanish Native American trail that led from Miami to Biscayne Bay (Miami). It was officially incorporated as a city on April 10, 1925.
